Hundreds of Porsche owners have been warned not to drive cars worth up to £200,000 in case the wheels fall off. The luxury car marque sent recall notices to around 1,000 drivers in the UK to tell them “not to use your vehicle until further notice”,

The new GEN3 Evo version of the 99X Electric is not only quicker in a straight line, but it has a new higher top speed. In previous racing seasons the non-Evo GEN3 cars topped out around 190, but the new modifications and extra power delivery bring that up to over the 200 mph mark.

Porsche is at the centre of a huge recall in Britain. Some owners are being told not to drive their luxury cars "until further notice" over concerns the wheels could fall off. Around a thousand drivers in the UK have been sent warning letters or emails.
