NWS New Orleans says the National Weather Service in Mobile is backing them up. "We are in constant contact with them if a warning is needed," NWS New Orleans said on social media.

St. James Parish has been issued a tornado warning by the National Weather Service. The warning comes after a thunderstorm developed in the area, the NWS said.
