The Huawei Mate XT is not only Huawei’s very first tri-fold foldable but the world’s first tri-fold device as well. It was announced back in September, so only a couple of months ago.

Amid these trends, TCL is making strides in tri-fold technology, while Samsung, the market leader, is reportedly planning to launch its tri-fold smartphone in 2025.
