During the earliest days of air travel, airline seats were merely wicker chairs that were fastened to the floor. To make the seating comfortable, the chairs were lined with leather and padding.
The Centre in the Square has replaced over 1,700 seats at its Raffi Armenian Theatre with new plush, wider and more comfortable ones to modernize the venue.
