Eutelsat, the world's third-largest satellite operator, launched twenty satellites on Sunday using SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base. This marks the first satellite launch since Eutelsat’s merger with OneWeb last year.

SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County Saturday night and the company had warned that residents in the region could hear sonic booms upon the rocket's landing.

The space company is set to launch its Falcon 9 rocket carrying 20 Starlink satellites at 7:31 p.m. Thirteen of the satellites will be carrying Direct to Cell capabilities. It will blast off into orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Another launch opportunity will be on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7:06 p.m.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket early Tuesday with a full OK from the Federal Aviation Administration, its first since a second stage failure on the Crew-8 launch grounded the rocket.
