Police said they continue to investigate another woman’s report of a physical assault about 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Lebanon Hills. She parked at the Jensen Lake Trailhead lot and walked the trails nearby. She was able to get away from her attacker, police said.

EAGAN, Minn. (FOX 9) - One of the reported assaults at Lebanon Hills Park in Eagan never happened, police said on Tuesday. The Eagan Police Department said a reported sexual assault in Lebanon Hills Park on Nov. 7 never happened, and the woman who reported the incident will be charged with filing a false police report.

Police say that one of the two sexual assaults reported at Lebanon Hills Regional Park in recent months didn't happen. Eagan police announced it would be increasing its presence near Lebanon Hills Regional Park after two separate assaults were reported, one in September and the most recent being on Nov. 7.

A woman reported an assault on Nov. 7 at Lebanon Hills Regional Park and police launched an investigation. A department spokesperson said Tuesday that the woman now says the assault never happened.

Police in Eagan are working with the Dakota County Sheriff's Office to investigate two reported assaults at Lebanon Hills Regional Park.

Eagan authorities on Saturday were asking residents to stay vigilant following two sexual assaults at Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Police said a woman was attacked around 11 a.m. Thursday while walking alone on a park trail.
