NEW JERSEY - New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen is celebrating his 75th birthday. Springsteen is originally from Freehold. The rocker got his hands on a guitar and the rest is history. The "Born to Run" tour ran from 1974 to 1977.

Bruce Springsteen loyalists were rewarded with two live albums before the legendary rocker’s 75th turn around the sun on Monday.

Today, legendary New Jersey singer and songwriter Bruce Springsteen turns 75 years old. It also marks the second Bruce Springsteen Day in the Garden State. Gov. Phil Murphy announced in 2023 that “it is important we recognize Bruce for all that he has done and will continue to do.”
