A Waste Management trash truck caught fire Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Route 140 and the entrance ramp to Route 24 northbound in Taunton, Massachusetts.

A City of Phoenix garbage truck had to drop its whole load of in the middle of a neighborhood street after the back of the truck starting to burn.

A Massachusetts highway was shut in Taunton on Tuesday as firefighters put out a garbage truck fire. Route 140 north was closed at Route 24 for the fire, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation noted.
