GM finally seems to be overcoming production challenges for its new EVs and it's expanding the lineup of Silverado EVs with more range and better price options

The Chevrolet Silverado EV lineup is expanding for 2025 as the company is adding a mid-level LT trim as well as Standard and Max Range batteries. The latter is particularly noteworthy as it increases the truck’s range to an EPA-estimated 492 miles (792 km).

The new Silverado LT offers up to 408 miles of range, and Chevy says it'll be eligible for the $7500 federal tax credit.

Chevy's upcoming Silverado EV is going to cost a pretty penny, but it has got the numbers to back up its high price tag, putting comparable EVs to shame.

Pricing has just been revealed for the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV, and there are major changes to discuss for the new model year. For 2024, there were basically only two versions of the Silverado EV: a basic Work Truck (4WT) model that was only available for fleet customers and the loaded RST First Edition.

Chevrolet is increasing the offerings for its all-electric Silverado for model year 2025, including an entry-level $57,095 truck.
