A man was arrested after police found a suspicious vehicle with items inside "ticking and beeping" in the parking lot of Wendy's in East Windsor.

A suspicious package investigation led to road closures at the intersection of Route 5 and Route 140 on Newberry Road in East Windsor early Wednesday morning, police said. The state police bomb squad ensured the area was safe.
