Manchester United shared the first look at a proposed 100,000 stadium replacing Old Trafford as part of an economic plan.

Manchester United have revealed the first images of the potential Old Trafford regeneration project. ESPN reported last month that United are leaning towards building a new 100,000-capacity stadium rather than redeveloping Old Trafford, although a final decision has not been made.

Manchester United’s plans to regenerate Trafford Park, including the potential construction of a new 100,000-seater stadium, could inject £7.3billion per year into the UK economy, according to a report by Oxford Economics.
