We've got ourselves another massive lottery winner in western Pennsylvania, this time to the tune of $3 million. The Pennsylvania Lottery announced a scratch-off worth $3 million was sold in Irwin, Westmoreland County.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The person who won the state's $25,000 a year for life lottery prize chose the one-time payment. Max Matus, 18, says the ball was 'forcefully taken away' from him during the Sept. 19 game.

A lucky winner is holding a lottery ticket worth $3 million that was sold in Westmoreland County. Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket in the $3,000,000 Fun Fortune scratch-off game was sold at 623 Oak St., Irwin. The Sunoco store where the winner bought the ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus.

A Mega Millions ticket worth more than a billion dollars was sold six months ago in New Jersey, but so far no one has claimed the jackpot.

The $1.13 billion Mega Millions ticket sold at a Neptune grocery store has still gone unclaimed six months after the drawing. In March at ShopRite Liquors, lottery officials announced the winner numbers.

A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million on Tuesday. The Lottery said the ticket, sold on Sept. 25, matched all five white balls drawn but not the yellow Mega Ball 18 to win $1 million.

With Virginia Lottery, it's not only the people who buy the winning tickets who are the luck ones, the stores that sell the winning tickets are too. Lottery officials presented a $10,000 check to a Henrico store that sold a $7 million ticket.
