MONTREAL (AP) — Matt Coronato scored twice as the Calgary Flames came back to defeat the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday night. Coronato tied the game with 2:46 remaining in regulation when he cruised into the slot and went off the post and in. He then buried the winning goal seven seconds into the extra period.

Matt Coronato was the hero with two goals, one the overtime winner, as the Calgary Flames defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 on Tuesday night. He had three shots in 16:35 and was the player of the game for the Flames.

The Montreal Canadiens started better against the Calgary Flames but still lost on home ice in overtime as the team is struggling to find its footing in the young NHL season.
