Former Aston Villa forward Bertrand Traore scored as Burkina Faso beat Burundi 2-0 on Sunday to become the first qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Five-time winners, Cameroon have booked their place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. This follows a 1-0 win over Kenya on Monday, with Boris Enow scoring the only goal of the encounter in Kampala. 2019 champions Algeria have also qualified for the tournament.
