网页2008年3月20日 — I have a couple of more questions for you. The Torchmate CAD is a standalone CAD system, that has 'True Shape' nesting, to custom sheet sizes. Does the software allow you to nest mulitiple sheets? e.g. I have 5 sheets of stainless steel 39.5" (1000mm) x 23.5" (600mm) and I want to nest the following parts :-.

The software engineers need jobs, salesmen too, but i don't NEED the latest version and iges is backwardly compatible, and Gcode is a world standard. it seems the nature of sofware is continual eveolution. a new GUI for the same old math.

What you need is a motion controller, not a USB breakout board. There are probably a lot more motion controllers that work with Mach3, then that work with Mach4.

It is sort of the mentor of Rhino Cad, I would say. It has always been more robust in control and features than Rhino but, I know Rhino has made great strides lately.

There're plenty of examples and tutorials built in and a super set of import/export options. In my opinion there is nothing to touch CamBam at its price of $149.
