I also think the secret mechanics to make the missions easier are a really amazing addition to the game. The only time I saw this again was in the new Hitman games.

It's one of my favorite stories ever put in a game, a story that perfectly balances humor and Seriousness to create a fantastic story of the rise of Vito and Joe and the downfall. the setpiece mission design is fantastic, and the soundtrack and care selection are lovely.

网页Mafia 2 is easily the best, though I love all three. Well written, funny, emotional, great controls, and interesting missions. I like Mafia 3, but the missions tend to get really repetitive after awhile. And Mafia 1 DE is held back by the god awful driving mechanics.

网页2020年10月29日 — Like the og Mafia (not remake) its best played on pc. Pretty similar structure to Mafia as well. A lot of it is a linear story told in flashbacks that all tie in together. Some of the levels are pretty badass. Theres always The Sopranos game lol. And not entirely mafia themed but Scarface The World is Yours on ps2 is an absolute masterpiece.
